I grew up in competitive class enrollment system that often required rapid refreshes only to find out the class schedule you meticulously planned is ruined because you didn’t get one popular class you needed.
Imagine that x1000 harder since now you compete with bots trying to get free financial aid.
The current best use case for AI is propagating fraud because fraud detection has always lagged behind. Colleges now need some enrollment validation task force to make sure enrollees are indeed real students.
